POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will be responsible for administering and processing documentation for pension and benefits.  You will also ensure the integrity of employee master data entered into the HRIS system.




·         Enrol employees into the benefit plans and reconcile all benefit data.

·         Process and monitor employee self-paid benefits.

·         Maintain and input employee information within the HRIS system to ensure accuracy and integrity of employee payroll and lifecycle records, from initial hire to termination.

·         Respond to employee inquiries, enter new hires/personnel movements/terminations, etc, generate reports, calculate adjustments to anniversary, service, leave, vacation and other dates/quotas.



QUALIFICATIONS:   Ccompletion of a two year Community College Diploma in Human Resources, Business or related field.   A minimum of three years of related administrative work experience; experience within a unionized environment preferred, healthcare a definite asset. Strong analytical skills to interpret and explain articles in Collective Agreements.  Demonstrated skill and experience in using MS Word and Excel.  Effective written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably SAP.
