Our client is one of the foremost real estate advisory and service organizations in Canada. They are currently seeking a full-time Manager of Property Solutions and JD Edwards Support to implement best practice project management in an IT analyst role. Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, this position manages the team responsible for support, maintenance as well as enhancements to and introduction of new applications. This team is also responsible for overall Enterprise Application Architecture and business process improvements related to the lines of business for which they are responsible. Specific responsibilities include:

• Project management duties working in conjunction with the business groups
• Interacting with all relevant levels and positions in all regions and assigned business units to ensure that key business processes are properly support by current systems
• Providing technical leadership of JD Edwards for both support and project needs
• Continuously improving effective business processes within the Property Solutions team

The successful candidate must have:

• Minimum 5 years related experience, with strong people management skills
• Advanced JD Edwards technical expertise/knowledge
• Technical experience relating to systems architecture planning and design
• Strong understanding of the real estate business and key business processes
• Project management skills – ability to apply practical project management best practices to facilitate the successful delivery of projects to the business
• Relationship skills – ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both oral and written; proven ability to develop and sustain cooperative, effective relationships at all levels; team player
• Analytical skills – ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
• Decision-making skills – ability to critically analyze a situation or issue, determine options and select the most effective one in a timely and efficient manner
• Organizational/Multi-Tasking – ability to allocate one’s time effectively, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities and work at a detailed level; ability to work in a dynamic environment that includes new ideas and change
• Computer skills – advanced skills in Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and JD Edwards
• Property management experience is an asset
