Job Description:

Our client, a full service national firm, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their Litigation Department. In this role, you will draft and prepare correspondence (including letters and memos) using Microsoft Office, and will edit, format, print, and revise documentation from dictation or other instruction as required. You will also manage calendars and travel arrangements, client meetings, and materials for presentations. The successful applicant will be comfortable directing calls, processing mail, performing administrative duties as required to assist others in the department, and acting as the first point of contact for clients. Attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are critical.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, and will have formal legal education from an accredited program. Knowledge of Litigation and familiarity with the rules and procedures of Court are essential, as are advanced PC skills (particularly in Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn other firm-specific software.
